My husband (in Iraq) just informed me it WILL be 15 months this tour. I got my hopes up for just 1 year. So now I have 7 more months to go. I just dont want to go that long. Ive done the year tour twice before and most of my friends have survived the 15 months but at this moment in time I wish I was allowed to throw a temper tantrum. I cant though, I have to keep up a happy face and get on with life. My kids need me and most of my friends are either in the same place I am (which means their spread thin too), or just finishing or starting another tour, which means everyone I know is just tapped out. I dont believe having a new president will help but i am wishing. These back to back tours have got to stop or there just wont be any Army left. Im sorry to dump this on you guys but right now I just dont have anyone to tell this to and it just keeps rambling in my head. I wish I was a Canadian.
