I have a female yorkie puppy that is almost six months and she has tons of energy. So I think the sex of the dog doesn't matter that much on that, depends on the personality of the pup. I have a female Golden Retriever also and they get along great. I'm sure someone else that has more than one Yorkie will be able to help answer you.
