I was wondering if anyone knows of a healthy food for my baby that would put some weight on him. I feel like a terrible mom because he is so skinny and when people pet him you can feel his ribcage. I want to plumpen him up. Can anyone recommend a food for me to give him?

Thank you,

Did you vet say he was too skinny? He may have a particular body type that makes him look thin, but in fact, be at a healthy weight. From most of the research out there, it's better to be on the lean side than the heavy side. If your vet thinks he's too thin, there are "treats" that you can add that will fatten him up in no time, if you want to keep him on the same diet. Some people add a little cottage cheese or egg yolk to their diet, peanut butter is also high and calories, and just a little bit can add much needed calories.
