Play dead is easy if you can catch them part way over in a roll over and click and that be the stop action click then you can shape a longer and longer pause in the roll over and then a full stop and then put it on cue.
We use would you rather be a cat or a dead dog and the cue word is dead dog. Seen as it potitically incorrect to "teach shooting of guns or point a fingre gun like" to kids in dog training classes... ugh what you have to think of sometimes.
