 When to Worm Newborns
So I have done some research but want to know when you all have wormed your newborn pups. I am going to call the vet later and ask, but the sooner the better. I am worried because I caught my dog eating cat poop once when she was pregnant and I found out that our kitten has Giardia so I'm afraid my bitch had it and may have somehow passed it to the pups. I think she is fine, I haven't noticed diarrhea, but Im also worried about hookworms and roundworms. It says the female can have them and they can be dormant but pregnancy can activate them again and she can pass them to pups and pups can die suddenly from anemia... Ugh.. Any advice? |
