If he escapes me before I get him in there or jumps the gate, he makes a beeline for my husband and jumps up in his chair and proceeds to urinate on the chair and on him. My husband is at the end of his rope. How can I get my puppy to go to bed willingly. Should I put him in before he falls asleep, should he have set bedtime routine. He's been sleeping in this room since I got him. He has his little crate, room to move around etc. Would appreciate any tips.

Fiona used to do this all the time when we first got her, now here she is at almost 8 months old, and she no longer does this. However, my 3 year old mini dachshund, still does this, and he is neutered, it may just be something that he will do for a little big longer. Just try not to bend down to him when you first get home, just let him follow you outside!
