He will probably not grow out of it. Some tips I use for Edgar are:

1. Pull as hard as you can on the legs, nose, ears, tail, and pull the body seams. If you can see the stitching sort of 'give' or see the threads, put it back.

2. There are some new low fluff and no fluff toys. But they have SOOO much fun pulling that stuffing out.

3. There are also toys at Pet Smart that come with an extra pack of squeakers.

4. Instead of buying cute stuffed toys, give him a sock with lots of socks in it. Then, when he pulls out the socks, you can just find the one with the least holes in it and restuff it for him!!

Edgar always goes for the weakest seams, generally the ears and he will eat off the tip of the nose. I completely understand your pain!!

ps--make sure the eyes aren't button eyes. I'm sure you know this, but they love to gnaw those off.
