So, Maximus was 11 weeks this past Thursday. The breeder weaned him on Puppy Chow. Well, lately I have to practically beg him to eat. I have to put food on the floor and make him stay there, otherwise, he would get one kibble and run, then lose interest. It was like he didn't want to eat out of the dish.

Saturday, I was on my way home from town and my brother called me and asked me to pick up something for him and my dh to eat for lunch. I stopped at this store that sells a little bit of everything, groceries, pet supplies (maybe pharmacy stuff too?). I've only been in there one or two times before (and one was to get some kind of butt creme that my pedi recommended for my 1st born who is now 11, that's how long ago it has been. lol) They happened to have a sign advertising Canidae food. I didn't see any small trial bags, and I was scared to pay over $8 for something that Maximus may not even like. So, as I was checking out, I asked if they had samples, and sure enough, they did!

Tonight I decided to try him on it. He gobbled it up so fast!!!! The only thing he left in his bowl was the few pieces of Puppy Chow that I had left in his bowl.

Needless to say, tomorrow I am going to town and buying a bigger bag for him!!!
