Yes they do. Also know as URI (upper respiratory Infections) I have dealt with this twice already first Ruby my yorkie and then Valentino he had it twice. It takes long to get rid of about 2 months. Believe me I am very constant with medication. They cause horribly when they have it. I think mine got it from letting them out to potty at midnight and them getting wet in the lawn irrigated by the sprinklers.
