Hello there and welcome to YT! It is lovely to have you on our forum. What a kind offer you have made to care for someone's Yorkie if the need arises. That is really sweet of you. Unfortunately, I do not live close enough to meet up but if you title a post something like 'Meet up with any Yorkie owners in Romeford, Essex?' you may get more responses from people in that area. I am not sure if or how many members we have in your area.
I have a little furbaby called Tootsy who is also the Princess of our house! She is such a darling and we simply adore her. She is 4 yrs old and is just so cute. I saw a doormat once that said ' This house is run solely for the happiness and enjoyment of the dog'.! SO true of our home!!!
