Marking is usually 1 tablespoon or less on a small dog, and, I believe, always accompanies leg lifting, but not positive about this. Joey's vet wanted to neuter him at 6 months because he felt the longer you wait the more marking becomes established. Joey never marks in the house, but he marks when he goes on walks, and sometimes it's every few feet, and sometimes, I don't even think a drip comes out. |
