  oh wow! that's SO exciting! is he potty trained? that is the only thing you might want to look out for. if he still has accidents, or do not like car rides. you want to be prepared for that in case he 'goes' in the car. i think pee pads should work fine. and maybe some baby wipes or wet naps and paper towels.
