Either it is boredom they chew on things or just trying to get even with us by leaving them I do not know....but they are fun to be with. Put your baby in a crate when you have to leave so that way he is confined in one place and does not destroy your things. I know how it feels when you finally buy something you saved money for and to be destroyed....you feel frustration. ON the other hand be a little bit more patient with him as usually boys are better in poo/pee training than girls. You should be consistent and patient. Give him a chance and give yourself a chance. Good luck. |
I use to do the crate but it always made him so erratic.. he doesn't mind being put in there when he's sleeping or when he knows he's done something bad(he tells on himself and runs and hides in it) but when I leave he FREAKS out and starts clawing at it and uses the bathroom in it and howls up a storm!! and I've tried different methods and they seemed to work at first but then they didn't anymore(like covering up most of the crate)(treats..etc) but I noticed when i was leaving him out as an experiment he started to freak out less and less(i did the leave and come back in a few minutes thing) and no he hardly makes a noise but at the sametime i know he loves to look out my bedroom window but after the first evidence that he could jump on the bed(he made me believe he wasn't tall enough to get on the bed so at first I left the bedroom open) I closed the door and then the one day I forgot he I guess had a full bladdar
