For the fisrt few weeks Princess wouldn't eat we gave her cottage cheese and some chicken baby food. One day she walked over to her dish and just started eating. She's now 2 years old & 4 1/2 pounds. The karo syrup in their water is a good idea. I think the dry food is too hard for them, mixing warm water to make it moist works. Good Luck to You. He sure is a cutie!
