Harley is this way with our bed, which he can not get on or off with out help. He will come to my side of the bed, put his front paws up as high as he can and then when I go to pick him up he runs to the other side! Then once I scoot to the other side of the bed he will lay out completely flat on the floor so that I basically have to get off the bed to get him. He will lay down about two seconds before he will scoot as close to the edge of the bed as he can without falling off - so that I will put him back on the floor! This is the process that we go through if someone goes to bed and someone stays up, Harley isn't happy until mommy and daddy are both in the bed with him!
