Sometimes it takes longer for the mother to accept puppies after a csection. They don't know what they are and they don't feel well. It's best to get those puppies on her for at least the first couple of days. Hold her and tell her how good she is - try to be very positive with her. Really try to get her to clean the puppies too. This all will help kick her in hormones. Our vet gets the puppies suckling right as our girl was waking up to help the hormones kick in.
