first- WELCOME!
second i think it is good news that he shows no other aggression and it is great news he lets you take food out of his mouth.

Well when it comes to your house- i think he is asserting is dominance. Layla used to bark at people when the door rang and used to jump. He needs to learn basic obedience so you can ask him to sit and stay when people come in. With the barking- I put pennies in a can and shook it when she barked at the door. Stopped that VERY fast have a friend come over and practice ringing the bell- It might take 30 min for him/her to be able to get in the door but don't open the door until your pup sits and stays and is NOT barking. When your friend comes in- make sure your pup is still sitting and staying and then let your friend give your dog a treat. and then release the dog and let your friend say hi to him. If he jumps (he should be on a leash) pull him back and put him back in sit.

Do you think that might work?
