Awe thank you. I was reading that when a county learns that a kennel has AKC status, they don't do the inspections, but let the AKC do them, and this upsets me, after all, the county should continue inspections and not rely totally on the AKC. The AKC can only remove someone from their list, if they are breaking state laws, and many states have such lax laws, which really makes you wonder how bad these places are that have been removed from their registry. Unfortunately, many of these breeders just go to one of the alternative registries, where rules are much more lax, and many people don't understand the difference between registries.
