I registered Joey with the AKC because I believe in it, and what they are trying to accomplish. The AKC is the only registry that does routine announced inspections, and they need money to do these inspections. While many puppy mills still enjoy AKC status, I'm am hopeful that in the future this will not be true. The AKC seems to be trying hard to rid themselves of these breeders, but this takes money. Registration is only $20.00, and we opted for the lifetime lost and found option, which includes his microchip or other identifying number for a total of $35.00. The tag was worth that; it's really nice. |
