6-7 months is a good time to have them spayed/neutered. I have heard some vets recommend even 5 months for neutering.
I have girls, and spayed Emma at 6 months and Milli at 7 months (we had to get her weight up to 4 lbs first). Both had routine surgeries and were acting more like their normal little yorkie-selves by the next day. They just took it easy for the first night at home. |
