The term apple head is used to describe a puppy/dog with a very compact round head. I find that people use this term to draw people in to buy their pups. It's just like using terms like baby doll face in the horse world... or munchkin in cats... or using teacup in toy dog world. Sometimes these animals have problems and sometimes they don't but it is not worth the risk.
