Ollie seems to do a lot better when confined in the crate than he does when confined in a pen. When he's in the crate under a blanket, he'll just cry for a minute and then go to sleep. When he's in a penned room he'll climb the gate and howl and cry (real tears!) and generally throw a temper tantrum.
He's just too little to crate while I'm at work yet. He's gotta have a pee pad.
