Haha, I've gotten this so many times! I think I've just learned to brush it off. Both of mine are above standard, Maggie is 10lbs and Franklin is 13lbs.
I took Maggie with me to a meeting on campus on Wednesday night. I literally JUST walked into the building when a guy came up to me and said "your Yorkie is big, mine is tiny" and walked on. No hello, no "is that a Yorkie?", nothing. Just judgment. I laughed and kept walking.
I'm sure it's just the same for the opposite. That lady was probably feeling insecure that her Yorkie was larger than yours. ) |
