You may need an assistant to help you out. You have to gently hold mom down and assist the pups in nursing. The release of milk will cause hormone let down which will help with maturnal feelings. Just a little bit of nursing so that the pups can get colostrum will be very beneficial to them. Praise mom while they nurse and encourage her to lick and nuzzle them as you hold them to her face afterwards. Good Luck.
