need some input please lets say Sally got a female yorkie
that was everything she ask for, so a year
later she asks for a male yorkie.
she we guaranteed he would be small short
nose and legs, but he was not any of that
he is 6 pounds and long leged and guaranteed not to
have the same parent as the female...Sally
loved him anyway his is now family .
A year later AKC tells her :
your dogs have the same daddy. and Sally is a crazy nut
about her dogs they are her family and best friends.
Sally did not make the mistake with the breeding the breeder
did. The breeder wants Sally to sent the male back and
get a new male. Sally did not make the mistake and feels
her family should not pay for the breeders mix up.
Sally waited a year for this male to be able to take over
the breeding for the now to old to breed male..part of the
female that the male is taking over are sisters and the mother
to the other only yorkie studs . the breeder knew
all this was to take place and it was all timed
out just right for sally. Now Sally loves the male
and this would also set her back a year, making sally
taking a big lose and maybe lose her home for this is the
only income. the male has 3 babies that now can only be sold
with out AKC papers on top of every thing else.
Yes his paper will be fixed, but not in time to sell the 3 pups
that are now 14 weeks old...
the breeder has made offers, but not one is a life time breeding fix
or adds up to the lose sally will be taking..
Sally feels the breed should send her a new male and let her
keep the one she loves because sally or the yorkie made this mistake.
what would you do if you are this breeder or if you are sally ?
