He wouldn't eat dry food for about the first month - but gradually I got him to eat it. I had to do it by putting the chicken weenie on top of the dry food, then he would eat the weenie and then the dry food - it was a bit of a struggle because he is a picky eater, he still is - but now that he is 4 lbs, I don't worry so much about his eating. I just fed the cottage cheese by itself - it's OK to feed alone, at least that is the advice I got on this board, and it worked for me. You just have to keep trying till you find something that he will eat.
