Aw, these guys aren't fooling anyone. We've been thru the whole gambit too. And every 'rule' DH made he was the first to break.
These little ones sure do know how to charm their way into your hearts.
My DH now puts Gracie Ruth's hair up in a top knot every day. If it's "cold" and she'll need to wear something out, he'll even coordinate the scrunchies/bows with her outfit. I came home from work the other day and he had her hair up in 2 pig tails - with matching sparklely barrettes too!
Of course she looked absolutely precious! I don't know who looked more pleased, G or my DH. lol
