Oh I went last April with my teacher's college to a small town called Monti Cristi- about a 3 hour drive west of Santo Domingo and about an hour east of Haiti. We went and stayed at an organization called Orphanage Outreach which facilitates groups like us teaching for a week at a Monti Cristi school. It was life changing!
