My mother has used this in the past with her toy poodle. While I was visiting he began acting very strange, digging at the couch, circling constantly, "running away from pain" ect. 20 mins later my mother had him at the vet. He had a severe allergic reaction to this product. Was on medications for a while, he is fine now but the vet recommended not to use this for her poodle.
