this is very common and mine did it too and i just have to catch him so he don't. they said meat tenderizer does work sometimes and feeding them pineapple. mine won't eat pineapple, but alot of people on here tried it and it worked.
I don't have any other advice as just to be patient and try not to let it become a habit for them or they will always do it.
