He is a fantastic little man, he has added a lovely dimension to our home life, it's very playful, we all just do a lot more together, he has settled in really well, apart from the house training, i went and got the pads because he was so frightened of the outside, you see we live in a lovely school but we have no garden, just a large open space and every time i take him out he would hold his wee until he got back in even when i was out for 45 mins with him.

sometimes he goes on his pad, at one point i thought he cracked it, and we always make such a fuss when he wee's in the right spot but recently he has been peeing everywhere and i was feeling really desperate and sad, because i adore him, my carpet is not great anyway, but it looks even worse now and i feel like i have lost control over the whole situation, so i joined here hoping i would be able to get some advice and learn about these lovely little creatures.

One thing i am having a problem with is flea's you see i have been treating my whole home and cat's recently but one thing is with oscar i like to bath him roughly every five days because i don't want my home to smell of dog, ( and he loves it) firstly i was using dog flee shampoo and my vet said i should not do that and he gave me the drops you put on the neck but because i bath him some of the fleas are still getting on him and i think the stuff i put on is being washed off, i try to pick the horrible things from him, but it seems like i am fighting a losing battle, i was wondering if there is any good oral flea treatment you know of and do you think i am bathing him to often? i am just a little unsure.

I would love any suggestions.
Cheers
Sally
