Bella went to the Vet this morning to be spayed and have 4 baby teeth pulled. The Vet called me to ask me if there was a possibility that she was pregnant. I said no that she has never been near a male dog. He told me she was having a false pregnancy. I had read about this previously on this site (this is why I love this site). He said she was very young to have a false pregnancy, he was worried it might be polycystic ovaries. I asked him if we should postpone the surgery, but he said if it was the PO's he wanted to remove them before it got worse. So my baby had the surgery but she cannot come home tonight, they want to keep her to watch her. She came out of the surgery fine and was awake with her eyes open and doing good. I feel so bad, I was so worried all day. I am waiting to hear from the Vet to see if it was a false pregnancy or PO. She has never been away from home this long let alone all night. I can just read her thoughts wheres my MOM and GRAMMY.
