Oh I didn't think about potatoes, you could use potatoes as a "flour," if you are interested in making your own treat. I would use the instant, and you could add eggs and some type of fruit, applesauce for example, and grated carrots. You don't need to add sugar, salt, or fats when making most treats. Eggs already have a little fat in the yoke, and applesauce can replace the fats in many recipes. Just experiment with different combinations. Potatoes with a little chicken liver might be tasty. Chicken liver can add lots of flavor with just a small amount. Adding chicken broth that is unsalted and fat free would be another way to introduce flavor while still keeping it healthy. Then just bake it as you would a cookie, maybe even adding oatmeal.

Actually oatmeal, eggs, applesauce, and cinnamon could make a tasty treat. Again, bake as you would a cookie.
