Where can you find the Pet Silk? Is it expensive and how much are you using? Does it leave the hair greasy?
I get my baby on Sat and the breeder is a show breeder and she will have him looking "top notch" so I want to be able to keep it up and I would rather do my own grooming. When we had Julz we pretty much shaved her ourself. This is going to be a BIG change for us
Thanks again you answered another question i posted y-day and this was very helpful too... |
Joey thanks you for the compliment, and congratulations on your new dog, I'll bet you are so excited. I found the PetSilk Topknot gel on E-bay, and it was $15.00, which included shipping. Some people get it at Pet Edge online and it's cheaper, if you are going to buy several things, otherwise the carrying costs make it more expensive. I couldn't find it locally, even at the grooming department. It has the consistency of honey, and you use a tiny tiny amount on the stray hairs, not the entire topknot, it just. I had used hair spray, but Joey developed eye ulceration, and I always thought that was connected. The hair spray didn't last very long, and I applied it with a brush, but those hairs came down and poked him in the eye. So, I only recommend products that are safe for dogs. Here's one place at e-bay
