Not a stupid question at all! Actually, typically, dogs on raw diets have MUCH smaller stools which turn white and disinegrate in a day or two. Zoe used to go potty twice a day at least on kibble. Now it's typically once a day! When she does go, they tend to be firm to almost crumbly and with less odor. But I will say that you might wind up with some loose stools at first as its a new thing. Thats usually why you have a bit more bone in the diet at the beginning than is needed as that helps and you might have some loose stools when trying a new food item. Also, you typically need to feed liver and if you feed a little too much for them, you could wind up with some loose stools. That being said, I think Zoe has had maybe one loose stools since we started raw last April so it really depends on your pup..... Many kibble eaters have allergies and raw doesn't always solve their problems but it does in a significant amount of pups! I hope it works for you too! Good luck and keep us posted!
