Do you or can you pick them up as soon as they are deposited in the lawn?
Other suggestions I have read about are:
Vitamin and/or mineral supplementation
Talking with vet about diet - a nutionally complete, readily absorbable diet and the problem is supposed to be solved...
Plenty of acceptable things to chew on.
