YouTube's New Music Licensing Model: How Does Royalty Free Stock Music Fit In? - Royalty Free Music News
Interesting, thanks. The last notice I got just said that they removed the video. No warning, no ads, it was gone from my list but available elsewhere where I could swap the music. Here's that notice:

A copyright owner has claimed it owns some or all of the audio content in your video Eddie and Rusty (with guest appearance from Jack). The audio content identified in your video is You Can't Catch Me by The Rolling Stones. We regret to inform you that your video has been blocked from playback due to a music rights issue.

Earlier, I got a different notice that seems to be what your link discusses:
Your video "Rusty dogged me" has been identified by YouTube's Content Identification program as containing copyrighted content which UMG claims is theirs.

Your video "Rusty dogged me" is still available because UMG does not object to this content appearing on YouTube at this time. As long as UMG has a claim on your video, they will receive public statistics about your video, such as number of views. Viewers may also see advertising on your video's page.

I panicked and subbed out the music, but maybe next time I'll let it go and see what happens.

Thanks.
