One of my pups would do that...drove me NUTS!!! I talked to my vet and he suggested sprinkling chili powder on the edges of the carpet. My pups would go over, sniff it lightly, then walk away from it. I thought it would hurt their little noses, but it didn't because they always take small sniffs when they find something new. It immediately stopped the carpet chewing and it does not stain the carpet, so you can vacumn it up after a day or two. |
