I love the other dog's expression in those pictures, it's all, "Daaaaaaaaang, somebody is gonna be in SO much trouble..."
Barring that, I'm sorry about your carpet. I understand what you're going through because my friend's German Shepherd has severe separation anxiety and she came home to a similar sight...just...German Shepherd-sized destruction instead. Use your imagination.
