I didn't have to give her the Nutracal today. She is doing wonderful, and actually eating more dry Kibble then she has since I got her! She was eating more of the canned in the last few days. I am going to continue giving her both canned and kibble for awhile, just to keep her appetite up. Now, she seems to be eating whatever I give her. It's great! Thanks for the help. |
I know, it's really hard. If you *really* don't trust your vet, it may be time for a new one. I also agree with Crystal on this (Elliemay) that you should ask the vet, and not the tech. Many vet techs don't have ANY schooling. There are a few around here that are certified, but honestly, and this is just in my experience w/ hubby's practice- they are the WORST because they *think* they know everything... JMHO. If you have a serious problem or concern, please ask to speak with the actualy veterinarian.
Glad to hear Missy is doing better. Just a question, but is this the same vet that said the puppies were fine to go home at 7 weeks? If so, it is obvious he/she doesn't have extensive experience with tiny dogs and you may want to look for someone that does. Have a good day!!
