 11 hour drive
I am in the process of adopting a Yorkie 11 hours away from me. The shelter does not provide transportation and does not ship because they're small and run by volunteers and fosters. I've never adopted before so I am very nervous and anxious. I'm still waiting for approval but I am very nervous about the whole process.
My boyfriend and I have decided to drive out to the Yorkie first of all to save money and just so we can get around. We'd probably go on a weekend and leave Friday night and get there early Saturday and probably check into a hotel for much needed rest then meet with the foster family in the afternoon, drive half-way home and get a hotel and then go home.
To be honest, I'm not sure what the best thing to do is..any advice?
