It is the socialization that they get and learn from their Momma and litermates. Holding them until at least 10 weeks gives them those needs skills. Most reputable breeders hold them until 12 weeks. Also, when they are 6 weeks old and still very, very tiny, they are susceptible to going down hill quick and most 'new' owners are not prepared for that.

I would never buy a pup that was less than 10 weeks old, and to be honest with you I don't think you are being very responsible letting them go at 6 weeks (Vet concent doesn't mean anything).

You have found a wonderful site here and YT has very experience breeders, you should try to learn as much as you can to give your babies the best chance at a happy and healthy forever life.
