From a few different things that I have read, I think one of our yorkies may have a UTI. I will put her in a confined area with her pee pad and she will go on it, then I will let her out and she will pee again within a few mins on the floor. It seems like she pees SEVERAL times a day. She is small, under 4lbs but I know she can hold it for more than 5 mins, and she does. She will go an hour or so without going, but then sometimes she will go 3-4 times in an hour no matter how much she has, or hasn't drank.

Also we have only had her here with us for a little over a week and I know she was pee pad trained there, and she knows where the pee pad is here, but unless she is right next to the pad she won't go on it, almost like when she decides she has to go, she has to go right then.

Are these some symptoms of a UTI in a dog? If so do I need to take her to the vet for some meds, or is there meds at the store? Or is she just having a hard time adjusting to using a pee pad elsewhere? I'm just confused why she is going to the bathroom so often.
