Honestly you're gonna have to make her get used to grooming. If her hair is matting at the skin/roots and is really bad...she'll have to be shaved. Mats close to the skin can be painful. I'd suggest brushing every night...correcting her nips in a firm voice. She will learn grooming is something she will have to tolerate and eventually she may come to loved to be brushed.
