I too went through the same thing. Not too long after I got Max, we were laying on the couch until the phone rang. I got up to answer it forgetting that he follows me everywhere I go which led him jumping off the couch. He landed straight on his stomach and it took his breath away. I felt so bad that I couldn't let go of him and just hugged & hugged him. They are very challenging and I think sometimes they think they are bigger dogs than what they are, but actually it's their ego!! Max has no fear which scares me to death.
Your baby is gorgeous and he sure is lucky to have a great Momma like you! Isn't it funny how they bring out the mother instinct back out of us? |
