Its almost as if they know what your thinking before you do! This is my first Yorkie, and I must say their intelligence level is remarkable! I can see where consistent routine and behavior (manners) training is a must. (my baby just turned a year old, we adopted him a month ago). He has been allowed to rule the house for the past month with a few base rules. We are now going to slowly incorporate more training with this little guy now that he is comfortable with us and very happy with his surroundings. He is a little smarty pants and full of life! This will be the challenge of my life as i adore him so, my husband as well, it will be very difficult to enforce the rules of the house. It is so hard not to let them get away with everything! He loves his crate at night (next to my side of the bed, with nightlight) but the couple times we had to leave during the day he sure gave us the puppy dog eyes look. It is so hard to leave him even for a short while. He is soooooo comical and has become our main source of entertainment...
