I don't want to scare you and this IS Treatable - but has your yorkie been checked for Lymes Disease (caused by ticks) ? This will cause major joint pain and can be treated but takes a long time to cure and a dog can have reoccuring episodes -

I really hope your baby has a good vet check up and it's just a minor sprain or something - GOOD LUCK ~
