there are a lot of chew sticks or teeth cleaning sticks/treats that you can buy for dogs, but how come most of them say "do not give to dogs under 5 lbs."

milu is very picky with food and treats, so i have to buy many different kinds of stuff for her to chew on. (she gets tired of the same thing really fast) but since milu is under 3lbs. i am not sure if it's safe to give her those chew things when it says not to give to dogs under 5 lbs.

i tried to ask people at the pet store, and they had no idea why it says that. and they think it's fine to give those things to milu. does anyone know why it says not to give to dogs under 5lbs?
