Governor Purdue requested that all of GA schools take holidays for Monday & Tuesday & that non essential state & county personnel take those days off as well.

Ethan does not have school Monday or Tuesday. Not every district as of yet has agreed to this. I read that with the schools not being open those 2 days that it would be a savings of over 250,000 gallons of diesel. I'm not sure if that is for the whole state or not. Not to mention the savings of staff not reporting in.

Anyway I just thought that I was surprised to hear of there not being any school Monday & Tuesday.

Just wanted to share this with everyone.
