At least that is what I've been told over the last 45yrs.

I would make the cookies, then icing them too. Put them into pretty
Christmas tins and place them all over the dinning room table. The kids
just loved it. I would start two weeks before Christmas baking them.
Everyday they came home from school there would be another tin or
two on the table. At the end of two weeks there were so many pretty
tins on the table. Memories
I miss those day's.
